11 days of photographic adventure before, during, and after the Salento Birdfair. From the forests of Chocó to the highest páramos of Colombia, you'll embark on a journey with Niky and Mauro, experts in capturing the magic of the bird country. We'll visit bird photography hotspots where we can photograph species like the Toucan Barbet, Multicolored Tanager, Antpittas, Buffy Helmetcrest, and many more, , in a trip that supports environmental education for youth in Quindío.

Day 1–2: Andes Occidentales – Multicolored Tanager, Chestnut Wood-Quail

Day 3: Chocó biogeográfico (Doña Dora) – Toucan Barbet, Velvet-purple Coronet

Day 4-7: Salento BirdFair with a birding talk by Andrea and Héctor from Aterciopelados, lectures, parade, and a birders’ zone at the concert + birdwatching routes.

Day 7 (PM): Finca Don Miguel – Tanagers

Day 8: Reserva Río Blanco (Manizales) – Antpittas, Hummingbirds, Tanagers

Day 9: Hacienda El Bosque – Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, Barred Fruiteater

Day 9-11: Termales del Ruiz & Los Nevados NP - Buffy Helmetcrest, Sword-billed Hummingbird
